About Linda

Working as a Minneapolis real estate agent is not the first career I have had. My first experience with real estate was growing up on a farm in southern Minnesota-not a hobby farm, but a full-fledged working farm. Being the oldest of 7 children I tend to take care of people. After high school I became a registered nurse and worked the night shift in critical care for 12 years. I enjoyed the fact that no 2 days were alike and I had to think on my feet and do problem solving each day -or night.

I purchased a Minnetonka home in 1975 with my husband where we still live today—kind of a Realtor’s nightmare becasue we haven’t moved, but we love the area! Our two sons are grown and we have two granddaughters.

I opened a bridal salon in Wayzata in 1984. That was a switch! People were still emotional, but in a different situation. Again, more nurturing and occasional problem solving. I learned a great deal about owning and operating a business.

After I sold my business I became a Minneapolis real estate agent and have worked at Coldwell Banker Burnet since then.I continue to enjoy the challenges that I am offered, and it excites me to help people whether they are buying a home or selling a home. There is no better way to learn about Minneapolis real estate agent than to ‘just do it.’

Your Minneapolis Real Estate Agent

Whether you want information on selling your home from staging, to a comparative market analysis to show the current value of your home or you are seeking the best information on buying a home, the financing available and local conditions I am willing to assist you in the process.

I am not one who likes to be in the spotlight. I would rather be in the background and help you attain the goal of selling your home or finding you a new one. I don’t sugar coat situations or information. I believe that sellers need to know what their home will realistically sell for in the current market- although that has been a huge challenge lately. I will provide data from the MLS, county records and other resources to arrive at a marketable price. If selling now may not be in your best interest, I will tell you and we can explore other options.

If you are buying a home, we will sit down together and explore the options for you. Is it your first home? We will go through the process of buying a home. I will make sure you are qualified through a reputable lender and that you understand the financing options available to you. You will make the ultimate decision. Are you transferring from outside of the twin city area? I have worked with transferees from a number of corporations relocate to our area and will provide information about the local schools, businesses, amenities, parks, etc.Is your family growing prompting you to move from a town home to a single family home? Have your children moved out and you are now down- sizing? Have you always dreamed of owning a lakeshore home? Maybe you want to move to the country on some acreage. (My office is at the Burnet Edina branch, but I nearly always have my boots ready to walk into a horse barn or walk the land if you are looking for a hobby farm!) There are many reasons that buyers and sellers move and I enjoy helping with all of them. We will develop a strategy to attain your goals –I am detail-oriented Minneapolis real estate agent and have been described as analytical and methodical-yes, even anal at times, but I love to have fun!

Hi Linda

Well, we are getting close to making that decision to downsize and of course, first person I NEED to consult is you! When you have time could you email or phone me please? cell: 612.812.8148, home: 763.420.8351. I am not sure of the timeline, but it will be sooner than later I suppose. I have contacted Bill Pohlen about helping with a re-do of the front door, (storm door blew off and just hanging on~) he has quoted me $2, 000 to re-do without a storm door. I would like your opinion before proceeding about that and a couple of other items.

Hope all are well. Brian is expecting baby #2 in August, will make 5 grandkids. Take care, Patty
