Wendy,
If your husband is the only one on the mortgage, I don't believe that your credit score will even be checked. You would be a "non-purchasing spouse" and you would have only a few documents to sign at the closing. Because you are married, and in Minnesota, you would be 'in title' or 'on the deed' with your husband. Your husband could also purchase using a 'purchase money mortgage' and then you would not necessarily be on the title either. I hope this helps and enjoy your day!

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house. Do I have to sign the paper work? My credit score is low and I don't work. My husband does and he is going to be the only one on the mortgage. Will this affect the buying process if they look at my credit? What are the rules that apply in MN?
